BRIEF: Aunt Jemima frozen pancakes, waffles, french toast recalled

May 06--Some Aunt Jemima brand frozen waffles, pancakes and french toast slices are under a voluntary recall because of the potential for listeria contamination, the Food and Drug Administration has announced.

No illnesses have been reported. Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems; others can suffer symptoms such as fever, headache nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. It also can cause miscarriages and stillbirths

The recall applies only to these Aunt Jemima frozen products sold across the U.S. and in Mexico:
